Going Deeper
Our shared vision is not merely a description of who we are now, rather it describes who we are called to be and who we are becoming as churches in the Peel Parishes.
What Is the Vision?
We believe that God is calling our churches to GO DEEPER. What this means is essentially ‘Going Deeper in Christ ’… maturing as followers of Jesus – knowing him more, loving him more and serving him more.
We see this outworked in three key areas. Like three strands of an interwoven thread or like the center of a Venn Diagram, these three components of the vision are all interconnected. You cannot have one without the others. So, what are they?
Deeper With God
We see us becoming churches that have a deepening relationship with God and a deepening commitment to follow Jesus more closely.
Deeper with each other
We see us becoming churches that are family; sharing life together, with a deep commitment to one another.
Deeper in service to the community
We see us becoming churches that are deeper engaged with the needs of the local community and committed to getting people into Jesus.
